fairvalue.pk is a community-driven marketplace built on trust, respect, and transparency. These guidelines help ensure that every user — whether buying or selling — has a safe and positive experience. By using our Platform, you agree to follow these guidelines.

Posting Guidelines

Do

  • Use clear, honest titles that accurately describe your item
  • Upload real photos of the actual item you are selling
  • Set a fair and accurate price in Pakistani Rupees
  • Provide a complete and truthful description including condition, age, and any defects
  • Select the correct category and subcategory for your item
  • Respond promptly to buyer inquiries on WhatsApp
  • Update or remove your ad once the item is sold

Don't

  • Post misleading titles or clickbait
  • Use stock photos or images from the internet
  • Post the same ad multiple times (duplicate listings)
  • Advertise items you do not own or cannot deliver
  • Include offensive, discriminatory, or hateful language
  • Post ads for prohibited items (see our Prohibited Items Policy)
  • Spam or post irrelevant content

Communication Guidelines

All buyer-seller communication on fairvalue.pk happens through WhatsApp. We expect all users to communicate respectfully and professionally:

  • Be polite and respectful in all communications, even when negotiating prices.
  • Do not send unsolicited messages, spam, or promotional content to other users.
  • Do not use abusive, threatening, or discriminatory language.
  • Do not share another person's WhatsApp number without their consent.
  • If you are no longer interested in a transaction, inform the other party politely.

Transaction Guidelines

fairvalue.pk operates on a cash-on-delivery model. Here are guidelines for safe transactions:

  • Always inspect the item before paying. Cash on delivery means you pay only when you are satisfied.
  • Meet in safe, public locations when conducting in-person transactions.
  • Agree on the price, delivery method, and timeline before finalizing the deal.
  • Keep records of your conversations and agreements.
  • Never send advance payments to sellers you have not met or verified.
  • Report any suspicious behavior or attempted fraud immediately.

Content Standards

All content posted on fairvalue.pk must comply with the following standards:

  • Content must be legal under the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
  • Content must not promote violence, hatred, or discrimination against any individual or group.
  • Content must not contain personal information of third parties without their consent.
  • Content must not infringe on intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks.
  • Content must be appropriate for a general audience.

Enforcement

fairvalue.pk uses AI-powered moderation combined with human review to enforce these guidelines. Violations may result in:

  • Removal of the offending ad or content.
  • Temporary suspension of posting privileges.
  • Permanent restriction from the Platform for severe or repeated violations.
  • Reporting to law enforcement authorities where applicable.
