fairvalue.pk is a classifieds platform that connects buyers and sellers. We do not sell products directly, process payments, or handle deliveries. All transactions on fairvalue.pk are conducted directly between the buyer and seller, typically via WhatsApp communication and cash on delivery payment.

Because fairvalue.pk does not participate in transactions, we do not offer refunds or process returns. However, we provide the following guidelines and protections to help ensure fair dealings between users.

Cash on Delivery Protection

The cash-on-delivery model used on fairvalue.pk provides a natural layer of buyer protection:

  • Inspect before you pay: You have the right to inspect the item at the time of delivery before handing over any money. If the item does not match the description, is damaged, or is not what you expected, you may refuse to accept it.
  • No advance payments: We strongly advise against sending any advance payments to sellers. Cash on delivery means payment is made only upon receipt and inspection of the item.
  • Negotiate terms upfront: Before agreeing to a purchase, discuss the item condition, delivery method, and any return terms directly with the seller via WhatsApp.

Buyer-Seller Disputes

If a dispute arises between a buyer and seller, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Communicate directly: Attempt to resolve the issue directly with the other party via WhatsApp. Most disputes can be resolved through honest communication.
  2. Document everything: Keep screenshots of your WhatsApp conversations, ad details, and any agreements made. This documentation can be valuable if the dispute escalates.
  3. Report the ad: If you believe the seller acted fraudulently or the ad was intentionally misleading, use the "Report Ad" feature on the ad detail page. Our team will investigate and take appropriate action.
  4. Contact authorities: For cases involving fraud or significant financial loss, we recommend filing a complaint with the relevant local authorities or the FIA Cyber Crime Wing.

Seller Responsibilities

Sellers on fairvalue.pk are expected to:

  • Provide accurate and honest descriptions of their items, including any defects or issues.
  • Upload real photographs of the actual item being sold.
  • Honor the price listed in their advertisement.
  • Respond to buyer inquiries promptly and honestly.
  • Deliver the item as described and agreed upon.

Sellers who consistently receive complaints or reports may have their ads removed and their posting privileges restricted.

Platform Fee Refunds

fairvalue.pk currently does not charge any fees for posting ads. The platform is free to use for both buyers and sellers. Therefore, there are no platform fees to refund.
